Outreach and Social Justice
The Piedmont UU Church Community is committed to Social Justice. In addition to taking part in several justice projects throughout the year, we designate one-half of each Sunday’s collection for organizations and projects that promote justice in our community. Our true wealth is the good we do in this world.
Some of the social justice organizations supported by the Piedmont Unitarian Universalist Church are: Children’s Home Society of NC, Freedom School Partners, Charlotte Community Health Clinic, Humane Society of Charlotte, Levine & Dickson, Hospice House, InReach, Carolina Raptor Center, Jewish Family Services of Charlotte, A Child’s Place, Social Justice Council’s Efforts for Advocacy of LGBT Issues in our Community, Amnesty International, The Mountain Retreat & Learning Center, United Family Services, and Clean Air Carolina.

Interweave is a Piedmont UU Church group grounded in the UU Faith that is dedicated to:
· Supporting the LGBTQ community and its allies.
· Providing a space for a social connection and spiritual growth.
