PUUC.org is the official online communication website of the Piedmont Unitarian Universalist Church of Charlotte & Salisbury, NC (PUUC). PUUC.org is designed to provide information to anyone interested or involved in supporting the values of Unitarian Universalism and the mission and ministry of the Piedmont Unitarian Universalist Church of Charlotte & Salisbury.  When you use PUUC.org, you agree to the terms and conditions listed on this page (the “Terms of Use Agreement”), which may be updated by us from time to time.

You understand and expressly agree that the use of the PUUC website is at your discretion and risk, and that you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer hardware, software or files that occurs. 

You may not: (1) modify PUUC.org, (2) publish, display, disclose, rent, lease, modify, loan, distribute, or create derivative works based on PUUC.org or its documentation or any part thereof without the express written permission of PUUC, (3) remove, obliterate, or cancel from view any copyright, trademark, confidentiality or other proprietary notice, mark or legend appearing on PUUC.org, (4) reverse engineer, decompile, translate, adapt or dissemble PUUC.org, nor shall you attempt to create the source code from the object code for PUUC.org without the express written permission of PUUC, or (5) assign the license for the use.

PUUC will make all attempts to provide timely and accurate information. In the event we are notified of an inaccuracy, we will correct it as soon as feasible. PUUC will not be liable for any errors, interruptions in service or late postings.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless PUUC, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, consultants and agents from any and all third party claims, liability, damages and/or costs (including, but not limited to, attorneys fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of the Terms of Use or your infringement, or infringement by any other user of your account, of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity. The Terms of Service will inure to the benefit of PUUC’s successors, assigns and licensees. 

These Terms of Use will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any action brought to enforce this agreement or matters related to the site shall be brought in either the state or federal courts of North Carolina. If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision or portion of the Terms of Use to be unenforceable, the remainder to the Terms of Use will continue in full force and effect. 

These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede and replace all prior or contemporaneous understandings or agreements, written or oral, regarding such subject matter. Any waiver of any provision of the Terms of Use will be effective only if in writing and signed by PUUC.
